Description
The four-year American Global Business Management BS program provides students with knowledge and understanding of the main economic functions of international business and of international strategic management. Students learn how to take local business globally and develop business strategies that will work on markets of different cultural, political and economic environments.
Program structure and curriculum
The curriculum and program standards are fully aligned with the U.S.-based Global Business Management program from our parent university, Rochester Institute of Technology, allowing students to obtain both U.S. and Croatian degrees.
Through theoretical knowledge and cooperative education (800 hours of mandatory internship in the field of study) in Croatia and abroad, students are prepared for the complexity of problem-solving in the dynamic global market.
Skills and Typical job titles
In addition to business management skills, students develop sough-after soft skills such as communication and presentation skills, critical thinking and analytical thinking, working in teams, etc. They also learn how to make independent decisions as well as how to solve problems in an innovative and creative manner. Our alumni have developed their careers as experts in different fields (Sales, Customer care, HR, Marketing and Finance). They work as brand managers, business analysts, auditors, accountants, social media managers and specialists, project managers and consultants. In addition they assume managerial and leadership positions such as department heads (Marketing, Finance, HR), senior partners in consulting companies, senior recruiters, business development managers, entrepreneurs / business owners, and chief executive officers.
